Sewing Club February 4, 10-12PM: This is a free meeting. It is the first Saturday of the month.  There is a different topic each month.  Come and learn something new.  Bring your show and tell.  We usually have 20-30 people at this club.  Participants get a 20% discount on notions and patterns that morning.

New Block of the Month Quilt Party with Wendy Rieves:  Feb 10 at 6PM or Feb 14 at 1PM.  The next "Block of the Month" program is going to be a little different.  We have heard from several people that they do not want to do another big quilt.  We have also heard that people want a way to use up their scraps and learn new techniques.  With these things in mind we are going to have a monthly "Quilt Party" at Frank's.  We will be making 9" blocks that can go into a special wall hanging that can be changed every month.  These blocks could also go into a quilt, be individual wall hangings, table toppers or whatever the maker decides!  Each month there will be a pieced block pattern and a technique pattern (Things like photo transfer, paper piecing, appliqué, Shiva paint sticks, Texture Magic ).   Every month we will also have a planned fabric exchange with the "Party" group.   The program will begin in February and run through Dec in 2012 except for July and August.  The cost is $25 to sign up and that also covers the cost of the pattern with the interchangeable center.  The cost for each "Party" after February is $7.  You can pay for the whole "Party" at one time for $75, or pay month by month.

Hidden Squares:  Feb 11  9:30 - 2:00    Make this awesome quilt with just two little blocks – not much cutting involved since you use a jelly roll or Bali pop and some additional yardage to complete this quilt!  You will have fun watching the pattern emerge in this great quilt.  Pattern purchase required. Taught by Pam See.   Cost $25
